thanks to the magic of youtube, i can dispense with rambling praise of something nobody else could see at the time, and just link you to youtube.

if you haven’t seen andy lau’s video for ‘into the future’, promoting shaolin soccer, then, watch this.

at the time, i had no idea whether this was simply the greatest music video of all time, or, as i suspected, a promo video for the greatest movie of all time. now we know. and knowing is half the battle!

(the other half is kung fu which is therefore absolutely good for everyone)
