so I saw le(la?) Pacte des Loups the other night, and after it was over, I decided that I should have a Jedi in In the Name of the Force who wears a coat like Fronsac and Mani have in the opening scene.
then I decided that was silly and I should try to be more creative.
then I remembered that one of the Jedi dresses like a 19th century Kung Fu master, another dresses like a Musketeer, another guy is blatantly based off Aron from Titus, and I’m going to have the gunslinger guy too.
so why not? It fits the character and looks better than the standard black trench coat I was going to give him before. :)
the musketeer outfit isn’t really, it’s just a cloak like the one Gerard Depardieu wore in Cyrano De Bergerac. with the hood added, it looks almost like a benedictine monks robe, which fits with a Jedi Master.
the coat guy is a fallen jedi who redeems himself and turns back to the good side, while the Moor is completely evil. the gunslinger has lightsabers that double as blasters, he’s also a bad guy.
I should scan and post the desings I’ve been working on for the Jedi Council, which are 12 aliens inspired by the 12 animals of the chinese zodiac.
(the zodiac council was one of the better ideas i came up with for itnotf)
