i got a $90 sony discman on sale for $60, four cds from yesasia in the mail, and new headphones from scott that i’d gotten for christmas. this was an upgrade from the shitty discman i’d gotten and never used, and my cassette walkman which i ran into the ground back in high school.
that discman was a tank, too. gorgous blue circular number, rock solid, good skip protection, still runs perfectly to this day.
