hrrm… going to fairbanks on tuesday, don’t know if i’ll buy anything. payday thursday, money will be put into the bank, money will be given to my parents, some things will be bought. stuff will be read.

i don’t really have anything to say. been thinking the last couple days about ideas for both a lost in space movie sequel or comic series(lost 2 space/liis?) and my tesla show. i need to read the tesla autobiography i picked up.
talking to scott up here(not brother scott) i was thinking maybe tesla knew nemo, and exists in the same world as the league of extraordinary gentlemen, or something like that? but that would complicate things, as by 1919 when i want to set the show, we’d have been fumbling into space i think. not to mention that i want tesla to be the first man on mars, and if i use the leog world, what about john carter?
a better plan would be to simply have tesla be a big fan of jules verne and hg wells.

unicron is starting to show up, but even if i find him, i’m not buying him til i get home, he’s too ridiculously big to get home easily. i’ll get one upon my return sometime.

in a sudden surge of new ideas, my eva sequel detached itself from the other idea i was trying to graft it to, and became It’s Own Thing thing again. dammit… apollo vintage has some good settings but i don’t know what i’m going to do with it, really. i want to adapt my lotr sequel ideas to it, but that’s kinda hard w/o the steampunk aspect i wanted to use. i could retool apollo to be steampunk, but that doesn’t fit with it being the future of dofa, or the past of whatever my jedi thing ends up turning into.
at least if i remove all the eva stuff i wanted to work with, i don’t have to worry about meshing lotr with giant robots.
i want to give space an atmosphere like in treasure planet.

the new jackie chan movie, the medallion, looks neat, i hope it’s good.
there’s supposedly a return of the king trailer floating around somewhere, i hope south scott has it downloaded when i get back.

i was talking to north scott about halo and now i’m jonesing for it again. damn!
also, midnight club 2, the racing game by rockstar, who made gta3, is on the x-box. i’ll have to buy it when i get an x-box.
