royal rainbow!

in about four hours i’m going to the mall to pick up my copy of halo 2. i can’t play it until tomorrow unless i skip sleep, and i’m not that crazy, but that’s not a compelling enough reason not to go out and pick it up. like i was going to get to bed before 1am anyhow.

katamari damaci is the greatest game ever, but playing it and not being able to save for some unknown reason just pissed me off. ryan was able to save, and i don’t want to think that i was telling it not to save and it telling me right back ‘wait/okay saving finished’… but that seems to be what was happening. basically, the game rocks but the ps2 sucks ass. if they take the hard drive out for the x-box 2 i am going to be pissed.

but yeah, katamari is great. it’s got this bizarre happy vibe to it and it just makes you feel good. it also features the coolest menu system of anything i’ve ever interacted with ever. if the ps2 core gui was like that, they’d gain a lot of ground in my eyes.
