ho hum

nothing much to report. stargate is good, atlantis is good, battlestar galactica is good. i forgot to watch enterprise. oh well, it’s already cancelled.

the dawn of the dead remake was okay. the ring scared the hell out of me.

rewatching episode one was disappointing, but justifies all the ideas i’ve had in my head of late for remaking the star wars sextology. heh, i said sex.

some advice; leave your underage roommate at home when you go out to buy booze, because people like me won’t go in and buy it for you after you get tossed out of the liquor store.

half the reason i’m excited about heading up to puyallup on thursday is that sometime that weekend i’m going to trick annie into taking me over to the mall complex by their place so i can hit a toysrus, a target, and a suncoast. i’m looking for the new streetfighter figures, some energon gestalt limbs, and some xevoz. that last one is highly unlikely, but worth a shot.

i made the best xevoz ever; a big spider monster with a long scorpion tail and four-armed mantises(mantii?) instead of pincers.

i’ve been reading blame! which is epic, but almost more than inspiring ideas for my own comics, i really want blame toys. i’m going to try to make something out of xevoz, but i’m also trying to figure out how i can hack out a killy using marvel legends figures. killy won’t be too hard, it’s cibo that’s going to be a pain to get right. my only idea so far is to pay $100 for the unposable pvc figures yamato put out and add some articulated parts.

actually, making blame legos has been really appealing of late. as well as the sg-1 and matrix ideas i already had. if the xevoz don’t work out, that’s the most likely solution for blame.

i got the tiny robotmaster optimus prime off ebay and he rocks. so does ultimate captain america. his leg was warped, the knee joint bent inwards, so i twist-tied him to a splint overnight to straighten it out. much better now. prime is currently on duty in front of my monitor with a gijoe ninja girl sitting on his shoulders holding a .357. i wish i had a tiny gijoe scale megatron gun…

i need to efile my taxes next week so i can plan for how much money i need to pay, so i can plan my budget for the next couple months, and see if i can afford to pick up new glasses, a bunch of games, and a ton of clear plastic storage solutions from frys and freddies.

prince of persia is really good, but it’s also kind of frustrating. the combat is a bit limiting and kind of annoying at times, but the puzzling is really solid. it’s not perfect though. nothing ever is.

holy crap, i forgot that toy fair is almost here. e3 is coming in may with news of new xbox and ps consoles. lots to look forward to if you’re into that kind of thing.

there will be good new movies in theaters soon. all that’s out right now that i want to see is the life aquatic and closer. looking forward to constantine, ring 2, and sin city.

the brak show is on dvd finally. why is THAT the adult swim show i want the most? oh right. zorak.

‘hey, why are you all still alive? oh right, it’s only thursday…’
