class 1 critical effect weapon

the xevoz, they’re kicking my ASS. or at least my head’s ass. it’s the same trouble i have with bionicle and lego and everything else; my ideas don’t translate very well, because i tend to think about them in my head away from the actual toys, with idealized versions of the parts, which are hopelessley inaccurate.

so naturally it never works out. i have to adapt. and i never do so well looking at a pile of parts and having spontaneous inspiration.

ah well. i may have figured out how to make a xevoz dragon, with the exception of big dragon wings. but he could be long and serpentine with a hell of a tail. the only trouble, natch, is that i’d have to get another dragon-man which is a $40 2pack plus shipping.

i might do it anyways, but i doubt it in the near future. what’s more likely is getting three more electro-guys so i can make tripod legs.

my order off ebay with two preda-crawlers and some others will be shipping my way soon, which means once i get all my parts organized i can start prototyping some blame villains.

been reading more blame and it’s fucking amazing.

i have all the parts to make a killy prototype but i still don’t quite know about the head. the bruce wyane from the The Batman cartoon line might work, but i don’t want to hack it up which means i’d have to track down another one…

or else get the $100+ killy/sanakan/cibo pvc set and cut their heads off. that might be a better plan but again, it’s a ton of work and i’m lazy.

not that making cibo is proving to be easy in any real sense. the controller and one of the silicon titans should be easy-ish with existing parts, and killy’s body could be easy too.

i could probably do domoschenko but i’m not sure i want to yet. we’ll see how he ends up.

i’d love to have/make a toy of the girl from noise but she’d be harder than cibo in some ways.
