plans within plans

i made a list of all the comics i want to do and it’s absurdly long.

dofa is no more. i put some thought into which parts of it were any good, and decided that very little of it was. it was too much an agglomeration of ideas that didn’t mesh very well. so it got the axe. elements transplanted onto another existing story(longevity part 1) fairly nicely, and that got epic.

then things got wierd. as i was fleshing out the character set for longevity part 2, most of the good ideas from dofa transformed themselves and became the character dynamic, setting, and themes for longevity 2. suddenly all the dofa ideas worked and were good, and all i had to do was transplant everything into the year 4000. oh well, live and learn.

now longevity 2 is fighting with longevity 1 over which should be made first.

i think my work schedule at this point is going to go something like this…

— no dates, i’m not making promises i can’t keep; realize this would probably take me 20 years
— this is hardly a complete listing, this is just all the ideas that i feel i’m liable to actually do, because most of them combine to span vast amounts of time in the same universe.
— there are any number of bastard sequels in my head at any given time that mostly get reabsorbed into something new
— god knows what i might come up with by the time i finish all this, or even get halfway.

and this is just my original ideas. i’ve got an epic eldar story in the warhammer 40k universe plotting, and i can’t stop having ideas for a star war sextology remake. and don’t forget dangerman vs missilemaster 2.
