monday is okay

i’m not cool, but that’s okay.

sg al is wicked hot and that is definately okay.

most of my new transformers are somewhat disappointing, but still pretty okay.

i never get any sleep anymore. that’s not okay at all. weeknights i’m fighting between going to bed on-time and getting some stuff done(it’s 12:30; bedtime is 11!). weekends i stay up late, then force msyelf to get up before noon so i don’t throw myself out of whack all week.

i seriously miss graveyard shifts, being able to stay up all night every night and NOT screw up my life.

i’m not even 24. i should be able to do this.

anyways, lets get everyone up to date.

star wars could be really cool, but even if it’s not the toys and the artbook are.

the artbook. oh, how i long to pore over it’s every page. but i don’t want to ruin the movie. not as far as plot, because i already know the plot, but as far as the concept art invariably being much cooler than the final designs.

the art is very colorful this time, versus e1 which was nearly all grayscale marker drawings. interesting contrast there, or is that just me?

i found a new picture mode on my camera. i never got the manual so i have no idea what anything is until i play with it. what i think is intented to capture moving objects is the one i found a new use for, as you can see in half the pictures from xima’s party. it’s a short time-lapse with good focus, aka instant ghost-cam. i look forward to abusing it more.

i need to buy a canon powershot s1 with the 10x zoom. i need an ipaq rx3815, a sporty little pda with a 1.2 mp camera. i need a gamecube and the dozenish games for it i want, just that i’m aware of.

i want a psp. i want the canon elph mini-camera. i want an oqo.

no. i NEED an oqo. i can, and may yet, put off the pda, the new camera, and the cube to get an oqo. it’s exactly what i want. if it was a clamshell i’d have already found a way to afford one.

never mind that that’s two months pay. that i can’t even really afford the camera, pda, OR the cube right now. i could maybe do one.

oqo for christmas? i could do that. can i wait that long?

load that sucker up with dosbox and who needs a psp? why put media onto a psp disc or an sd card when i can just play it off the oqo’s 20gig hard drive, in quicktime?

why dick around with mobile graphics toy programs when i can load up an oqo with FUCKING PHOTOSHOP and hack the gibson all over my art ANYWHERE AT ANY TIME?!?!

AND upload it to the internet from an internet cafe ON THE SAME MACHINE!?!?

excuse me, the possibilities are just so exciting. five years from now, if that long, pdas will be dead and palmtops will be everywhere. or they’ll catch up to each other and find a nice fusion that costs less than a thousand dollars. pda input and ease-of-use, palmtop raw power and capacity. clamshells. please, some nice palmtop clamshells with flip-around tablet/touchscreens, usable thumbboards, and, maybe, just maybe, dual analog sticks for pocket halo pc.

hey, i can dream, can’t i?
