the new and improved oqo model 01+ upgrades to 512 meg of ram, usb 2.0, a 30 gig hd, and a few more overall improvements. this is kicking me in the ass because first, they just solved my few issues with the damn thing, and second, they dropped the price of the original from $1900 + gear to $1500 + gear.
still ridiculous, but a little more plausible. maybe next christmas they’ll have a model 02 out and i can pick up an 01+ on ebay for $1000 or so…
