i want to work for five or six hours an evening, then come home and stay up all night, accomplishing things while others sleep. go to bed when the sun comes up, then get up around 4 and go to work.
i’d love to switch to working 6 hours a day, 6 days a week, from 6-midnight. that’d be awesome. or else four ten hour shifts.
this five-eights crap is killing me. the usual come home too tired to do anything, too backlogged on weekends to get caught up, and etc.
clean-installed xp on my computer, it went hellaciously smoothly and everything is super-functional now. it’s fantastic to have everything working right without any hiccups.
enough to make a man buy a mac, almost. i’ll wait til i can afford an intel macbook that’ll run half life 2 with hdr turned on, on which i can dual-boot xp.
THE FUTURE IS NOW. but i can’t afford it.

You should talk to your boss and see if they’d be cool with you working four tens - frequently, bosses don’t care when you work, they care how much you work. It can’t hurt to ask, if you think it would be a better situation for you.
Personally, I could never work six days a week. I can understand the four tens, but six days, even with less hours, would feel like I was losing a day off each week.
