global warming is a conspiracy by californians to terraform the rest of the planet. i hate them so hard this time of year. may through septober. it was better in alaska where summer only lasted two months, although i’m not sure i could really go for eight months of heavy snowfall.
once, though. i want to spend a year above the arctic circle, and another in the southern hemisphere, and one in the tropics. hot weather is fine if you’re near the ocean.
it’s one thirty in the morning and it’s still 75 effing degrees in here. if i felt like i could trust the shitty old wiring in this house, i’d invest in some air conditioning.
something tells me i’m going to be looking at other living situations by next summer.
The best expenditure I’ve ever made was on one of those double-box fans that fit in your window-frame. No extra space required, and (in my case, and I know in yours) it’s right next to my bed, pulling in the cool(er) night-time air.
