clinton is displaying a stubborn tenacity and a complete refusal to compromise or give up, despite steadily growing criticism, dwindling support, a slow decline of popular opinion, and a numbers game that she increasingly cannot win without changing the rules.

this is supposed to represent change and tenacity in the face of opposition, but it just sounds like bush and his steadfast support of an increasingly unpopular war, and his quiet refusal to listen to anyone he doesn’t agree with.

also, the longer this fight has gone on, the more desperate her tactics have started to look, and the ‘real’ campaign isn’t even on yet.
