so ryan comes to me and he’s all ‘have you seen the girl on youtube covering ‘toxic’ on the ukelele?’ and i’m all ‘no, but it sounds awesome.’ and lo, it was completely awesome.

so i check out sweetafton23’s other videos, including a cover of ‘tom cruise crazy’ by jonathan coulton, also on ukelele. sweet, i think to myself. this girl is going places. with a ukelele. and that’s awesome.

another person who thought that was awesome was jonathan coulton, who had her come perform a few songs with him at his recent seattle show, all of which you can watch on the tube.
