i slept too much. i can’t focus on anything. i think it’s intensely ironic that i’ve unintentionally trained myself to function better on six hours of sleep than any amount greater than that. (twelve, in this case…)

the old design is back in time for me to want a change. color negative vs screenshot equals a pretty nice new scheme. winter is over, spring is coming. it’s funny because it’s true, you see.

did a bunch of eldar character design and story crafting this week. the second part of the saga is shaping up, and it’s starting to feel like when my simple idea for a jedi kung-fu movie sprawled out into what is now a five movie epic.

i made a list of all the comics i want to do and it’s absurdly long.
dofa is no more. i put some thought into which parts of it were any good, and decided that very little of it was. it was too much an agglomeration of ideas that didn’t mesh very well. [...]

wandered around looking at christmas lights tonight. headed up onto the ridgeline that runs from like 50th down past my place, in a rough diagonal from just past the hollywood district to down fremont past alameda. good god i want to live on that ridge. the view of downtown from up there [...]

i can’t think of anything to say so i’ll just start typing and see what comes out.
saw team america. it was awful. i don’t really recommend seeing it. that said, i’ll be quoting bits of it for years.
it would have been much better as an episode of south park, condensed down to [...]

i want to start doing a weekly ’roundup’ of all my major ideas worth sharing, and also start scanning the week’s notable sketches and the like, and post them. weekly will become more than weekly and so on.
but i think i might want a faster scanner before that becomes practical. that or just [...]
